A little help

Let’s make
life easier.

Quick answers, a fresh start, or a hand when you need one.

Good to know.

These guides cover the upcoming version 2.1 redesign. Check the App Store for the latest available version. LifeCycle supports iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later.

How do I add a reminder?

Tap Add reminder, give it a name, and choose Next due and Repeat. Save when you’re ready. For a little inspiration, open Library → Ideas and choose a suggestion.

How do I change a reminder’s date?

Open the reminder and tap Edit. Change Next due, then save. To move only the next occurrence while keeping your repeat settings, use Reschedule on the reminder’s detail screen.

How do repeating reminders work?

Choose an interval in days, weeks, months, or years. You can repeat from when you finish a reminder or keep it on a regular scheduled date. Annual occasions keep their anniversary date. If you only want to move the next occurrence, use Reschedule.

What happened to Horizon?

In version 2.1, Horizon becomes Upcoming: a searchable schedule organized by month. Today shows overdue and due-today reminders. Library keeps your reminders, ideas, people, and belongings together. Existing reminders and completion history stay with you.

I marked something done by mistake. Can I undo it?

Tap Undo in the completion message. It restores the reminder’s previous schedule when no later changes have been made. If you need to adjust a date after that message goes away, open the reminder and use Edit or Reschedule.

How do notifications work?

Open Settings, turn on Send reminders, and allow notifications when asked. Remind me at controls the time for due-date reminders and advance notices. Overdue follow-ups may arrive at 9 AM or 6 PM, and a Sunday digest helps you look ahead. Open LifeCycle regularly to keep future reminders scheduled. If notifications are blocked, use Open notification settings to change iOS permissions.

How do I pause or remove a reminder?

Open a reminder and choose Archive reminder to pause it while keeping its history. Use the archive filter in Library to find and restore it. To permanently remove a reminder and its history, open its detail menu, choose Delete reminder, and confirm. Permanent deletion cannot be undone.

Can I organize several reminders at once?

Open Library and choose Organize reminders from its menu. Select the reminders you want to move to a new date or archive. This is especially helpful when tidying up a long existing list.

Can I sync or transfer reminders to another device?

LifeCycle currently stores reminders locally on each device. It does not sync between devices. In Settings, choose Export reminders & history to save or share a readable text copy. This export is for reference; it cannot be imported to restore the app. Keep a copy before changing devices or removing LifeCycle.

Do I have to share my contacts?

No. You can add people manually, or choose Import birthdays from Contacts in Library → People & things. LifeCycle asks for permission only when you choose to import. You control that permission in iOS Settings.

How do I change the appearance?

Open Settings → Appearance and choose light, dark, or system. LifeCycle also follows your device’s text-size settings.
