The LifeCycle app does not require an account and does not send your reminders to us. We do not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs in the app.
What the app stores
LifeCycle stores your reminders, schedules, completion history, notes, costs, people, belongings, and preferences locally using Apple’s on-device storage. Existing profile information from earlier versions also remains on your device. LifeCycle does not provide its own cloud sync service.
Your device’s backup settings may include app data in backups managed by Apple. Those backups are separate from LifeCycle’s features and are governed by your device settings and Apple’s policies.
Contacts are optional
If you choose to import birthdays, LifeCycle asks for access to Contacts. Imported names and birthday information are used to create people and birthday reminders on your device. We do not receive your address book. You can add people manually instead, and you can change Contacts permission in iOS Settings.
Notifications stay local
LifeCycle schedules local notifications on your device. You choose whether to enable them and can turn them off in LifeCycle or iOS Settings. Notification content can include reminder titles, so your device’s notification preview settings control what appears on your lock screen.
You choose what to share
The export feature creates a readable copy of your reminders and completion history. That copy can include notes, costs, and the names of people or belongings linked to reminders. It leaves the app only when you choose to save or share it. Review the destination and contents before sharing.
If you email support, we receive the information you include and use it to respond. Please avoid including sensitive personal details unless they are needed to resolve your request.
Storage, security, and removal
Local app data is protected by Apple’s app sandbox and your device’s security settings. Keep your device software updated and protect access to your device.
You can archive a reminder to pause it while keeping its history, or permanently delete it from its detail menu. Deleting the app through iOS removes its local app data; offloading the app is different and keeps its documents and data. Any exports or device backups you created are managed separately. Export a readable copy before removing the app if you want a reference for later.
This website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Visiting it involves ordinary web requests to the hosting provider. Links to the App Store open Apple’s service, and email links open your email app. Those services handle information under their own policies. This website does not receive the reminders stored in your LifeCycle app.
Children’s privacy
LifeCycle does not require accounts or collect reminder data from users, including children. If you contact support about a child’s information, please include only what is needed to help with the request.
